Recover the website.
Address the cause.
Unexpected redirects, unfamiliar files or a website that keeps getting infected need more than a quick scan. We review the affected WordPress site, carry out the agreed cleanup and address the security issues found during the work.
Working remotely with US businesses. Clear scope, shared milestones and a planned handover.
First, understand what has happened.
Tell us what visitors are seeing, when the problem began and whether the hosting company has reported anything. Useful clues include redirects, blocked pages, unfamiliar administrator accounts and warnings from browsers or search engines.
We review the site and the access available before agreeing on the recovery work. Avoid sending passwords in the contact form; we arrange an appropriate way to provide access after the scope is understood.
Cleanup and recovery, with a plan.
A backup may help, but restoring an old copy is not enough if the same weakness remains. We discuss backup condition, available evidence and any limits to recovery before relying on a restore.
- Preserve a copy of the affected site where possible before making changes.
- Review WordPress files, the database and unexpected accounts or access.
- Remove the malicious changes found in the agreed review.
- Check themes, plugins and the hosting setup for weaknesses related to the incident.
- Restore or repair the website and test the important pages and functions.
Reduce the chance of a repeat incident.
The follow-up work depends on what we find. It may involve updates, removing unsupported software, reviewing permissions, changing compromised access and improving backups or server settings.
Where a warning or blacklist is involved, cleanup and review requests are separate steps. Search engines and other providers decide when their warnings are removed. We do not promise immediate clearance or a permanently hack-proof website.
Know the next steps after recovery.
We explain the work completed, the checks performed and any remaining actions for the site owner. That can include who handles updates, where backups are kept and how future alerts will be reviewed.
Incident severity and the condition of the website affect the work and timeline. Share the symptoms so we can discuss a realistic scope rather than treating every infection as the same job.

Questions before we start.
Can you help if I cannot access WordPress admin?
Possibly. Hosting or file access may provide another way to review the site. Tell us what access remains available and what the hosting company has said.
Is installing a security plugin enough?
A plugin can be useful, but it is not a substitute for understanding and removing an existing compromise. The site and its hosting may both need attention.
Will restoring a backup solve the infection?
Only if the backup is suitable and the cause of the compromise is addressed. We review those points before recommending recovery from a backup.
Do you guarantee the website can never be hacked again?
No. Security needs ongoing care. We explain the improvements made and the maintenance responsibilities that remain after the recovery work.
